Simone “Tribu” Tribuiani, born in Cesenatico in 1975, is an artist who still lives and works in the area where he grew up. In his artistic projects, he paints emotions, memories, and forms connected to childhood, seeking to rebuild a deep connection with the places and images that have shaped his experience.
His artistic practice evokes sport experienced as a collective ritual in the bars of the 1980s, forgotten covers of old records, and cinematic scenes suspended in time.
Bringing details, frames, and fleeting moments back to the surface, he creates a continuous flow of images and emotions: the vivid colours of local stadiums, the black-and-white snapshots of metropolitan life, and everything that keeps alive the connection with the child still searching for the way home.
More recently, his vision has expanded to landscapes and nature, exploring the relationship between individuals and the environment with the same attention he dedicates to the recovery of materials.
