The Archive and the House-Museum are an intimate and extraordinary collection that ranges from the celebrated terracotta sculptures
(his women, his clowns, his mythological creatures) to his drawings, architectural sketches, and the artist’s personal objects.
The Art Garden is an open space where sculpture meets the Romagna landscape,
a place of pause and contemplation, where art merges with the hillside vegetation.
Human Geographies and Events was created to periodically host guided emotional journeys,
events connected to local traditions, conferences, and moments of well-being immersed in nature
and events where art meets the local zero-kilometre food and wine traditions of the area.

The name Hoopoe House comes precisely from the symbolic meaning that this bird held for him
and from his way of experiencing art. The hoopoe is a easily recognizable bird
because it has an orange-red fan-shaped crest on its head,
wings with highly decorative black and white stripes, and a long, slender beak,
used to search for insects in the ground, with an almost “ornamental” appearance, very elegant and original.
From a symbolic and behavioural point of view, it is associated with curiosity and exploration, independence,
transformation and rebirth, originality and unusual beauty, a connection with the earth and nature.
